I am so excited to finally be writing this blog post and share some of the incredible images (and thoughts!) from this amazing wedding.
White Pines Entertainment String Quartet captured during the ceremony by Curtis Wiklund
The White Pines Entertainment String Quartet had the privilege of being involved in the incredible ceremony and cocktail hour of Megan and Eddie this past June. Megan and Eddie were married at a family home in Grosse Ile and I have to say, it was one of the more perfectly planned and executed events I have ever had the pleasure of being involved with. The day may have been hot (it was over 90 degrees outside!) but the setting was absolutely spectacular.
Cassy Anderson of Cassy Rose Events was the couple's wedding planner and she did an exceptional job of executing and delivering a gorgeously imagined day.
Megan's attendants walked down the aisle to the traditional Bach Air, then she followed to Elvis 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You'. The couple spoke their vows under an amazing floral archway that reflected behind them in the pool. It was just the most romantic setting! After the 'I do's' the couple and wedding party recessed to a custom arrangement of Clean Bandit 'Nowhere I'd Rather Be'.
We moved into an air-conditioned tent for the cocktail hour and played more pop and rock tunes as a string quartet. The guests mingled and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails before moving farther into the tent for dinner, dancing, and celebration!
