I am in shock that this is the first time I'm writing a blog post on a University of Michigan wedding!
We perform at the University of Michigan League and Union for wedding ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours, and campus events more times to count, but I'm so happy that we are finally showcasing some of the incredible beauty of the space.
Melany and Travis were married on July 14th at the University of Michigan League. They chose a fantastic selection of music for the ceremony. The moms were seated to Ben Folds 'The Luckiest, the bridal party walked in to 'What a Wonderful World' and Melany came down the aisle to Death Cab for Cutie.
"I Will Follow You Into the Dark" has become one of of my favorite songs to play for ceremonies. Our incredible arranger composed it as a custom arrangement for one of our brides two years ago and it is just so well done! There is a great little audio clip of us playing it here:
One of the great parts about our job is that we get to meet so many amazing wedding vendors from other areas of expertise! Melany and Travis had some incredible talent working to make their day absolute perfection. Tiffany Kelly with TRK Photography captured fantastic images of the entire day, (and if you haven't already, you absolutely must check out more of her work on her website!) Chelsea Herlein with UM Events always makes sure that every wedding and event runs flawlessly from start to finish. And oh my goodness, Melany's dress was absolutely stunning! (The White Dress )

Summer weddings on the University of Michigan campus are just to die for. As a Michigan alum, I always get excited to be back on campus! A huge congratulations to Melany and Travis. We loved the music, and we hope you did as well!
