David performing some solo violin prelude music captured by Lynette at lightingwithlove.com

Camille and John | Northville, Michigan

Michelle Kulwicki November 7, 2017

Wedding season is wrapping up, so we are doing a quick flash back to a lovely, intimate wedding that one of our violinists had the privilege to be a part of this summer!

David Ormai has been performing with White Pines Entertainment since the very beginning, and he really enjoyed getting to be a part of this small family celebration.

Camille and John were married on a beautiful August afternoon at the Northville Historical Society. They were a wonderful couple to work with, and they were so involved in the planning process! They had a very clear vision of what they wanted the music to communicate during their service, and David was thrilled to bring it to life.

He played some contemporary favorites including Jason Mraz, the Beach Boys, and the Beatles to begin the prelude. He then switched over to the wonderfully classic Bach Air for the attendants, and Pachelbel Canon for Camille.

Playing as a soloist at a wedding offers a unique sound, and experience. It can feel a bit more lonesome than playing with a group, but as a solo musician, you have the opportunity to weave your own color into someone's celebration. Having a solo instrumentalist is a simple and flawless way to incorporate music and for the intimate atmosphere of Camille and John's ceremony, it couldn't have been a more perfect choice.

One of the most incredible parts of our job as musicians is that we get to be present for some of the biggest and life changing moments in people's lives. We are invited in for an hour or two, and have the chance to glimpse true love and happiness. We have the joy of watching family members and friends celebrate. We have the honor of setting the mood and being a part of the memories created. It's an incredible feeling and I know we love every second of it!
