It’s been a while since we’ve done a blog post, but we’re back! 2021 was filled with beautiful weddings, and 2022 is shaping up to be our busiest season yet. We have too many favorites to post, but Laura and Jason’s farmhouse wedding this past May was too perfect to pass up!

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms has been one of Michigan’s premiere wedding venues for many years, and with good reason! From their stunning Greek Revival Farmhouse and restored Red Barn, to their picturesque Chef’s Garden and rolling fields, Cornman has some of the most stunning backdrops for photos we’ve seen. We’ve been on their preferred vendor list for many years, and are always so excited when couples contact us to play on their grounds!

It was also a pleasant surprise to find out that the couple were using Miranda Crace from Spoke Events as an event planner and coordinator for the day. We’ve loved working with Miranda in the past, and were thrilled to work with her again. It’s such a joy to have seamless communication with all members of the vendor team—makes our jobs easy!
Laura and Jason were married in the Grove, in front of the farmhouse. Our string trio played classical music for their ceremony prelude, then had some fun requests for the ceremony! Parents were seated to Bittersweet Symphony, and Laura walked down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun. Then we played Third Eye Blind Never Let You Go for their recessional! After the ceremony, the trio moved down to the barn to continue playing a cocktail hour full of popular music.
