Announcing 2020 Wedding Season…Covid style!
Getting married in the year of the coronavirus is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime hurdle. Ben and Emily managed it beautifully for their summer wedding with the help of the amazing team at Cornman Farms!

This was one of the first weddings that White Pines Entertainment performed for after the lock down in Michigan, and we were so excited to play for their ceremony and cocktail hour. Ben and Emily were married on the grounds of Cornman Farms in front of the beautifully restored Greek Revival Farmhouse. They picked out a great playlist for their prelude including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars. Emily walked down the aisle to Elvis I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.
The couple wrote their own vows (I always love that so much!) Their ceremony was perfectly intimate, the weather was amazing, and even though the guests were masked, all eyes were smiling :) After the I dos, the couple recessed down the aisle to Jason Mraz Lucky!
After the ceremony, our string duet headed down to the barn to play for cocktail hour while the guests played corn hole, visited with goats, and snacked on absolutely delicious looking slices of pizza.
“We booked White Pines Entertainment for our July 31, 2020 outdoor wedding. Upon listening to their music on their website, I immediately knew I needed to hire them to play for more time. I could not be happier with the choice we made to use them for our ceremony music and an additional cocktail hour. We had a string duet (cello + violin) and every point of their professionalism showed on the day of our wedding. They knew just what to do in terms of when to start/stop in points of all the songs in correlation to what was happening during the ceremony, and made sure the alignment was perfect. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and was so flexible with specific song requests we had. I would book them over and over again. I am so glad I found them!”

Cornman Farms is one of our favorite venues for a reason. The grounds are beautiful—there are so many places for a perfect photo op! The team at Cornman does a stunning job of making a special day to remember—even in the time of Covid!
We are so happy that we were able to be a part of Ben and Emily’s wedding, and are so excited that we’ve been able to resume performing again!
